8-2-13 Evening at the Deserted Market - this is a black and white Hdr that was created in photomatix pro by merging 3 jpegs created in the Fuji x100s in B+W with red filter mode. This camera is so much fun and lends itself to creative experimentation.
Terry asked me if I ever took a shot for the top of the ferris wheel and the answer is a big "NO". It would take someone paying me a lot of money to get on the ride although I am fascinated by it.Ilene Samowitz20130731DSCF0667hdrx

8-8-13 Another Market Sunset. This was taken at the park just north of the Pike Street Market. I wanted to catch the sunset when I was photographing the wheel. I might have trouble for the next days commenting. I should be able to comment early next week.

9-3-13 Downtown Seattle at Golden Hour from Pier 57. I used to work in the building that reminds everyone of Ban Roll-on (the beige one with the blue dome) before I started working in Bellevue in April. I miss working in downtown Seattle for all the photo ops, although I am happy I changed jobs.
I'm back in town from our Labor Day trip to the Oregon coast so I am expecting to be able to comment tomorrow. thanks for understanding and continuing to comment on my images.Ilene Samowitz20130824IS06716hdrx

9-5-13 This is the color version of a skyline of Seattle that I posted several days ago. Any thoughts on which you like best? I think I am still partial to the B&W.

9-7-13 "I for Industrial" I took this image at Gasworks Park, Seattle. I could not think of a more industrial type of shot anywhere and am thinking this will be a unique offering for the alphabet challenge. I am really enjoying this challenge and have started a gallery under PAD where I am collecting all of my alphabet shots.
