6-17-13 Poppy Dreaming - this was taken yesterday at Birch Bay State Park, Washington along the northern part of Puget Sound. There was an area that had opium poppies along the edge of the grassland near the beach. I processed this using Topaz Simplify, Color Effex Pro, and added a texture.

6-23-13 Greenbank Farms on Whidbey Island, WA. The property there is wonderful with a solar panel array, pond, gardens, bird watching platform. Plus there is a wonderful cheese shop which includes cheese from this establishment.

8-17-13 "F is for Fog" I thought I'd try something other than "ferris wheel" so i am not so predictable. I was hoping to go out tonight but instead I started working with my partner on fixing up my office so that I can set up my BD monitor. I have been doing all my photo processing on a 13" Macbook Pro. I look forward to having two screens- one monitor 23" and my 13" laptop. Hoping to set it up tomorrow. Thanks for all the comments on Stump Beach. I am thrilled to be living near there.

9-6-13 Details on an old vehicle found at the Great Blue Heron Cheese Factory in Tillamook, Oregon. Does anyone know what vehicle this is?
I agree with Terry (thank you) that I saw something that looked like Autocar as well. I had never heard of them so I didn't investigate. In reading about them in Wikipedia that makes sense especially since I took pictures of White vehicles as well which I also never heard of.

9-9-13 Rockaway Beach, Oregon late summer sunset. One thing I will miss when we move south is these reflecting pools at low tide sunsets. This is a wonderful feature of this beach.
