1-6-13 Bicycle in Bandon processed using Filter Forge artomatic filter. This is a very interesting program that has both effects and also creates textures. I plan on using this more in the coming months.

Thanks for making my Necanicum Estuary the number one picture. I was thrilled.

Critiques Welcome.
1-5-13 Necanicum Estuary - this is one of our favorite dog walking parks on the Oregon coast.

1-4-13 Snowy Owl at Fort Stevens - this is another image I took at Fort Stevens at 1-1-12. I used my Nikon D800E with its magnificent 36 megapixels. I was able to crop this image and then was able to resample using Perfect Size and now have a cropped, high res image.

Feeling very tired tonight so I apologize for not commenting tonight. Should be able to have time over the weekend.

1-3-13 Young's Bay Bridge #2 -this was a 40 second long exposure done during the afternoon with a 10 stop Big Stopper ND filter. I tone-mapped this single image exposure using Photomatix Pro and converted to Black and White using Silver Effex 2.

1-2-13 Young's Bay Bridge - This was a 25 second exposure taken using my Lee Big Stopper (10 ND filter). The black and white conversion was done using Silver Effex 2. I was thrilled to see my Snowy Owl image make it to the number one spot today.

Critiques Welcome.
1-1-13 Snowy Owl at Fort Stevens, Warrenton, Oregon. Today I was lucky enough to make it up to Fort Stevens. This was the fifth time we visited the park since we headed to the coast on 12/22/12. This time, I was treated to one of the Snowies landing around 100 feet from the road. I was able to get a number of environmental shots. I will be posting more of these later in the week but wanted to post at least one today. This will be my first posting for 2013 in my PAD project.

Happy New Year to All!!!
